He who thinks that walking in the mounts is boring, is wrong. Nature, the tension and the challenge make the walks more spectaculair. It is fun to be able to walk above the tree border, between the meadows to the glaciers. The tree border sits below the 1800 meters, the meadows between 1800 and the 2300 meters.
The curiosity of what you are going to see behind the next turn, the search for Murmelthieren, stags, chamois... will occupy you the complete day. When you return home at night tired but satisfied, you can not only say that you trained your body, but you've also learned alot about nature. 
These beautiful mountains unfortunately also have dangers. For this reason good walking shoes (with good soles and impermeable fabric) are a must. A sprained foot can ruin your holiday. Always try to listen to the weather forecast, even on a beautiful summer day a thunder-storm could arriver very quickly. In the walking book, that you can obtain in the vvv-office, are even more tips you would better read before you start your walk in the mountains. Also you can collect your stamps, which you have deserved in this walking book. The points are assessed to level of difficulty.
