If you want to get a beautiful view above Neukirchen, without having to make a physical effort for it, taking the Wildkogelbahn will be something for you. The 6-person cabin brings you as high as 2,100 meters! The 'Wildkogelbahn' gets his name from the Wildkogel, which is with his 2,225 meter the house mountain of Neukirchen and Bramberg.

Dürnbachtal [more...]
The Dürnbachtal thanks its name to the river that flows through this valley, namely the Dürnbach.
At the beginning of this valley there are annual open air theaters carried out. This spectacle is famous and every two years the topic changes. This year the topic is: ' Grimms Rache episode 1 '. Previous years the topics where: Robin Hood, The three musketeers and Dracula.

Bettlersteig [more...]
The reconstruction of the Bettlersteig started, on the initiative of Sepp Steiger and with aid of the voluntary fire department and the owners of the Berndlalm, Finkalm and Stockeralm, in the spring of 2005. The Bettlersteig links the two Sulzbachvalleys with each other. Since the Bettlersteig contains steep meadows, it is only recommend if you have experience with hiking in the mountains.

The Wildalm lies on the mountain between the Habachtal and Untersulzbachtal. This hut is not inhabited most of the time, therefore you must bring a picknick. If you look up from the village to the Salzach-side, you can see the Wildalm exactly above the tree border, that is what makes this walk so special.

The house mountain, Grossvenediger (3,674 m), of Neukirchen can be climbed from the Obersulzbachtal. That, the beautiful Seebachsee and the gletscherpath are the reasons why the Obersulzbachtal is so well known.

Untersulzbachtal [more...]
The Untersulzbachtal is a short and smal valley with a spectacular beginning: namely, the 50 meters high Untersulzbach wasserfall. The valley is known because of its "Knappenwand". In former days this was a finding-place of many crystals and was converted into a open air museum later on.

The Habachtal, famous because of its wealth in minerals, especially emerald, lies in Bramberg. You can admire many of the mineral finds in the Heimatmuseum of Bramberg and Mittersill.
